Official Parade Rules

  1. The Redding Lighted Christmas Parade is a long time Redding tradition, always held on the first Saturday Evening in December. Each year the Active 20-30 Club chooses a specific theme for the parade and we encourage entry designs to be in keeping with the theme. We recognize that it is not always possible, however, the general theme of the parade is "Christmas" and we require every entry to follow this general theme. The Active 20-30 Club reserves the right to determine the overall appropriateness of any entry in the Lighted Christmas Parade and to deny entry to anyone not adhering to the general theme of the parade.

  2. Any entry having more than one competing unit must pay an entry fee for each unit. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  3. Entries are limited to maximum 5 people per entry.

  4. Every person in the entry must wear a mask at all times, no exceptions. We will have extra masks if you don’t provide your own. If you refuse to wear a mask, your entry will be forfeited and no refund will be given.

  5. Individuals in entries cannot congregate with other entries before, during or after the parade.
